Hi, I’m Monica—someone who deeply values presence, dignity, and the quiet power of being seen and known.
I’m a Licensed Master Social Worker based in Hattiesburg, MS with a master’s degree in Social Work as well as Interpersonal Communication. I bring over a decade of experience working in relationship-centered spaces, and my approach is shaped by advanced training in Somatic Experiencing (Intermediate level), Internal Family Systems (IFS Level 1), and EMDR.
Be Seen and Known was born from my desire to share what I’m learning—with other professionals, seekers, and anyone trying to make sense of their body’s wisdom, their emotional patterns, and their healing process.
